Do anyone of you remember the scene from Kill Bill Vol. 1 where Uma goes to Japan to fight O-Ren Ishii (Lucy Liu) at the restaurant and she kills, slashes, or dismembers every member of the Crazy 88 gang? I’m going to re-enact the scene with a few character substitutions.

Uma = Cal football fans (to a lesser degree, all Pac 10 football programs)
O-Ren Ishii = BCS The system which continues to screw the Pac 10 and has failed in yet another year.
Leader of the Crazy 88’s = Texas Coach Mack Brown Bastard lobbied other coaches for votes after his games and then said he felt bad for Cal.
Crazy 88 gang = Voters in the AP and coaches polls How does Texas gain points after each of Cal's 2 wins?
Sofie = Texas Tech Sofie was left alive, though without limbs, so she could tell Bill about Uma’s fury.

Other substitutions in the movie: Tedford could be Sonny Chibi's character, and the Utah Utes could fill in for Vernita Green (Vivica Fox, although Utah is not nearly as good looking). Though not the primary subject of Berkeley's vengence, Utah did contribute to the BCS conspiracy.

I'm really upset about this. Mad doesn't seem to be enough to describe it. With NASCAR over, baseball in the offseason, the 49ers starting the junior varsity team, the Warriors and the NBA being unwatchable, and hockey on strike, college football was all that was left. I can't decide if I want to make plans for the freakin Holiday Bowl because I don't know if I would be able to enjoy the game. In football terms, it's like breaking off an exciting 78 yard run that stops at the 2 yard line. It's a great play, but it would have so much sweeter if you had managed to get that last 2 yards and score the TD.
