Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. So Cal and Danny go to Bay Street movie theater.
I'm not a big movie guy, but this was one of those rare movies that I actually wanted to see, like Kill Bill and Dodgeball. One of the lead actors, John Cho, is one of my favorite people to watch on tv or in movies. It's not because he is Asian, or because he was in those American Pie movies (not a big Pie fan). It's not even because he is a Cal grad.
The reason I think he is awesome is for the work he did in a sitcom that I bet less than 3 of all my readers ever saw or heard of. It was a comedy called 'Off-Centre' that was on the WB for about half a season. It was just a show about some crazy guys living together in an apartment. His character, Chau, was hilarious. My favorite episode had the guys getting involved with illegal cockfights (with birds, for you those with dirty minds).
Other shows which I liked that got canned after 1 or less season: the US version of Men Behaving Badly with Rob Schneider and Andy Richter Controls the Universe. If any of these shows came out on DVD, I would be first in line to purchase them. And if I see crap like Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman Season 3 DVD box sets at Best Buy, I better see Off-Centre soon.
