Kill Mike Vol. 1

Some days, kids drive me so mad, I want to shoot them. Or maybe it's just a symptom of paintball hangover. Read Bob's blog for more paintball details. I went paintballing (is that a word, or am I just verbing nouns again?) with a bunch of guys during the past weekend to celebrate Mike's last weeks as a single man. It was great fun, even if we didn't get to pelt Mike with 500 rounds of paint. We'll leave Kill Mike Vol. 2 to Ivana.

What I learned from my first paintball experience:
- Playing Terminator works better than trying to play sniper.
- Wearing a cap backwards provides great protection for the back of your head/neck. Likewise, placing the extra ammo holders over the crotch area is a good idea. (I took a shot there. Several paintballs in the canister got damaged. No other balls were injured.)
- Camo gear does not help when hiding behind a blue metal barrel. Even in the jungle level, you could easily spot a person's gun in the trees. But I guess everyone wears it to look hardcore.


I liked Kill Bill Vol. 1 more. But I can't buy the Vol. 1 DVD without buying the Vol. 2 DVD, so I may as well just wait for the 2-DVD set. It's the same with the Matrix and LOTR. I didn't buy the first ones, so I'm going to wait for the special edition box sets for those as well.
