Every now and then, I read about how people hurt themselves doing regular everyday activities. Stuff like hyperextending their elbow taking out the trash, pulling a hamstring getting into a car, or even breaking a rib while sneezing. It's freak injuries like these that really scare me, so I take extra care to protect myself, such as trying to do nothing at all times. If I do nothing, I can't get hurt doing anything. Am I making any sense?

As an extra precaution, I also watch as many Sharks games on TV as I can to make myself tough (you have to see the Fox Sports Net Sharks comercials). I think I'm up to 215 career games. That should be plenty. I should be darn near invincible.

So last night, I was doing next to nothing and I injured myself. You know what I did? I yawned. I was getting tired of doing nothing, it was getting kind of late, and I yawned and hurt myself. When my mouth opened, there was this big pop around my right temple. The pain was coming from above the jaw(TMJ) joint and it hurt like crap. I thought I popped a blood vessel in my head. It was like I pulled a brain muscle. It's a good thing I watched all that hockey on TV, cause a lesser man would have broke out in tears.

It was still a bit sore this morning, but I think I'm okay now. I shouldn't try to think about 2 things at one time anymore though.
