A few sport rants:

I'm sick of people accusing Barry Bonds and other power hitting baseball players of using steroids. All these Bonds haters want an asterick by his records, but I'd like to see any one of them throw back a Barry home run ball. Bonds says he didn't use steroids, but even if he (or any other player) did and were not caught, the some of the blame should be cast on MLB and the players' union for having such a phoney drug testing policy.

Terrell Owens is Mad Cal's Jerk of the Month. I think he must have had some off season surgery, possibily a lobodomy. Owens, his agent, and the NFL Players Union Head are about to make it on to the List of People who make Cal Mad.

The 49ers are a mess. We need two wide recievers, at least one cornerback, a few offensive linemen, but most of all, we need a new owner. I'm going to start a petition for every 49er fan to send me $10 so I can buy out John-Can't-We-Make-The-Players-Pay-For-Their-Own-Uniforms-To-Save-A-Few-Bucks-York. Seriously, if we don't get rid of him, look for the once proud 49ers to be the NFL version of the Golden State Warriors.

On the bright side, March Madness, baseball's opening day, and the hockey playoffs are coming soon.
