The landlords have decided to upgrade the lower bathroom here at 5824. The bathtub that was so useful for storage space is being replacd by a shower. The past few days, two guys come over and hammer stuff at about 9:30am and leave about 10:00am. At this rate, I think the shower will be in place by October. All I see is a hole in the ground where the tub used to be. The tub now sits outside and spiders are climbing in through the hole into the bathroom.

Actually, at this very moment, one of the guys is replacing the window in the bathroom. (There was a nice 2' x 2' hole in the back of our house through which anyone could have climbed into our house for about 4 hours today.) I don't know if it was in the original plans, but one of the guys cracked the glass yesterday and put it in the plans.

Someday I will work at Home Depot. I always talk about getting a part time job there or something. I would much rather work at Lowe's, but there are no nearby locations. (Jimmie Johnson drives the #48 Lowe's Chevy Monte Carlo, of which Jeff Gordon is a part owner.)
