The NHL All Star game went into overtime and was still tied, so the game ended in a shootout won by the West (how fitting). The shootout is probably the equivelent of the NBA's slam dunk contest, but at least for the All Star game, it worked well. It would have been terrible for an All Star game to end in a tie.
