Good news and bad news

Good: Our staff prayer meeting this morning was very encouraging. No staffing or pay cuts announced. We spent about an hour in prayer praising God and trusting that He will continue to provide for the Mission's ministry as He had for over 30 years.

Good: Chinese New Year has given my wallet new life. People I don't even know are giving me money. I was at my grandmother's house watching tv in the back room when some relatives of my cousins came over. I had never met most of them, much less know who they were, but just for saying hi and gung hay fat choi, I was rewarded with a small red envelope containing dollar bills.

Good: There is now a link to my friend Seri's blog. It is my first link to a female's page (well, second if you count my brother), showing that my links do not discriminate by gender. (That's for Martha Burk!! I do not like Ms. Burk by the way.) Seri's blog is called 'hungabahs.' I do not know what that word means, but you can rearrange the letters to spell 'gun haha bs.'

Bad: Today I am on a diet of DayQuil and cough drops. I did not know a human nose can produce so much snot. Buy stock in Kleenex, as I am boosting their sales.
