I have gained a companion in my quest to possess the One ring. I no longer have to bear this burden by myself. Another Poon by the name of John (no relation, although our blog sites look like they used the same template, see Spoon Thots link) from the city of Berkeley has joined me in the battle for Middle Earth. We spent 4 hours watching The Fellowship of the Rings with extended scenes as a warmup for our journey. Since then, we have spent endless hours killing many orcs and have made our way through the caves. John seems to be better at hand to hand combat while I am more skilled with the bow and arrow. The ring is near. I can feel its power. Soon it will be mine.
