The PGA Tour just played the Cialis Western Open this weekend. If the golfers had a round lasting more than 4 hours, did they have to contact a Tour Official immediately?

The Norman Lau Tour played our July 4th Tournament at the Earl Fry Course in Alameda. I started off horribily, but got better as the round went. The final count: 2 quad-bogeys (holes 1 and 2), 2 triple-bogeys, 6 double bogeys, 5 regular bogeys, 2 pars, and 1 birdie, for a grand total of 101 strokes. Not superstar stuff, but good enough to get me some points and move up some spots on the Norman Lau Tour.

I was hitting the ball pretty good today. I still putted like crap though. The only ball I lost was due to the fact that I hit it too far (and too much to the left) while trying to reach a par 5 in two. On the par 4 16th, I even did a birdie dance. I did the Dead Worm (Not enough energy left by the 16th to do a good Worm).

Best line of the day: 'It's only about 120 yards to clear the water. Go for it!' I said to Norm. And Norman did. But he only made about 105 yards. And he ended up losing to me.

Camp until Friday.
