I've been eating a bunch of the miniature Hersey chocolate bars. My order of preference is the Special Dark, followed by the regular milk chocolate, then the Mr. Goodbar, and I only eat the Krackels if I grab one by mistake. I used to like the crispy rice chocolate bars, but I don't anymore. I don't really have a reason as to why that is.

I have been wondering how the Krackel or Crunch bar was born. (Research shows both were created in 1938. Krackel originally had almonds and peanuts in addition to rice.) Has anyone ever put chocolate syrup on their bowl of rice? I mean, how did this combination come about? Was there an accident at the Hersey factory one day after someone ordered Chinese food? Does anyone other than me ever think about stuff like this?
