Time for Mad Cal rantings....

I am very disappointed in the new NASCAR points system. Nothing was wrong with the old system. People who like this new system probably also like the baseball all-star game determining home field advantage in the world series and the BCS.

As of last week, I have stopped watching 24. The action may still be exciting, but the writing creates plot holes big enough for the Queen Mary 2 to fit through.

I'm tired of American Idol. I'm tired of all these fake 'reality' shows.

The NBA now ranks fifth on my list of professional sports I like to watch/follow. Baseball and football are a close 1 and 2, followed by NASCAR in the three hole, and hockey ranking 4th.

Smog checks are a bunch of crap. I have to pay $64 so a mechanic can use a computer to tell me my 5 year old car will not pollute the air and cause damage to the ozone layer. If my car is blowing tons of smoke out the tailpipe, I'll pay a mechanic to fix it. To pay him to tell me my car is okay makes no sense.
