My poker buddies and I had our second ever Cal Poon Hold 'em Elimination Tournament this weekend (I did not sponsor this tourney, it was just called that). There were 6 of playing and I eliminated 4 of the other 5, including a dramatic come from behind heads up battle where I had to win 3 all-in bets to win the big prize ($12!!). Unfortunately, I lost all my winnings playing other card games the rest of the night.

After a long night of card playing, we got about 4 hours of rest and then went on to compete in the 2004 Norman Lau Golf Tour event at Sharp Park. I will no longer play at Sharp Park Golf Course. The course sucked so much, I created a whole separate blog just for it. Although I shot the lowest score out of the 4 competitors, I finished last in the standings due to a scoring system that spawned from the BCS.
