I got to attend the 49ers-Rams game at Candlestick this Sunday with a couple of kids from our center. We got awesome tickets from Kurt Warner's First Things First Foundation. The 49ers special teams actually did some good today and we just dominated the game.

It was the first regular season NFL game I had been to and it was pretty cool. Former 49ers Jesse Sapolu, Eric Wright, and loser Steve Bono (I don't take pictures of losers)were hanging around our section. The timeouts are much more exciting when the cheerleaders are right in front of you (we were in lower box row B). They can be kind of distracting at times too. I almost missed a few plays because of Nina (check out the bio, she's a Cal Bear!!) and Kimmie.

The coolest part was getting to meet Kurt Warner after the game. People were crowding the visiting players' exit gate trying to get in, but eventually Warner saw us with his sweatshirts on and waved us over. He talked to the kids for a few minutes, signed some stuff for us, and took a picture. I would love to see Warner in a 49ers uniform next season.

As great a football week as this was for me (Cal also dominated on Saturday), this was by far my worst week for fantasy football. At least I still have hockey.

(I guess clicking on all those pictures opens up a lot of windows. By the way, inserting cheerleader photos were a ratings booster tactic of TMQ which I have decided to borrow. TMQ may be coming back to the internet!!)
