I got a haircut this morning at the Great Clips in Pinole. While I was sitting in the chair, I noticed that the cosomotology license of the lady cutting my hair expired on August 31st, 2003. Looking at the unaltered date and time stamp of this post, you can tell that August 2003 has come and gone.
If I was getting an unlicensed haircut, would I still have to pay full price? What reason did this lady have not to renew her permit? I was about to ask her when she started talking to her comrade in a foriegn tongue. My Russian is not as good as it used to be, but I heard the word for 'ear' and a phrase that can be loosely translated 'we can make it look like an accident.' I was not about to mess with the Russian mob up in Pinole.
As I was leaving Great Clips, I noticed they had one of those 7-11 robbery stickers that run along the side of the door frame (For those that do not kow, it's that strip that color codes height, so when a robber runs out the door, you can immediately tell he was between 5'6" and 6"0'). How often is Great Clips robbed that they need to install one of these?
I'm getting ready for another performance in Tahoe this weekend. Sorry, but the venue has been completely sold out, including the standing room only tickets. Look for me at Caesar's Palace. (I won't be performing there, just checking out some football scores.)
