Saturday was quite a busy day. It started off with the King's Club annual Spring Block Party. The weather was nice and things ran rather well. The Bay Area Rescue Mission has revamped its website, so go check it out if you want to see more about the ministry we do.
Later that afternoon and evening, the guys and I had a little fun at Tomio's bachelor party event. I was told all I can say about it was that it involved role-playing, stripping, and honey. Hopefully, Alice won't get mad. It was beary fun. Actually, it was beary, beary fun.
A bit of sad news here at 5824. On Sunday morning, we found a dead squirrel in our driveway. Foul play is not suspected, as the cause of death was listed as 'falling off a high wire without a net or parachute.' A barbeque will be held in the squirrel's honor on May 25th. (And no, we will not be having any squirrel that day.)
As mentioned, our house has gone several months without a bbq. We intend to end that streak on Sunday May 25th. All are welcome. Email one of us at 5824 if you need to get on the Evite list.
