Whenever there is a hurricane coming near land, I think it's dumb that cable news reporters feel the need to put on a raincoat and stand out in the rain to tell everyone stuff like 'Looks like everyone has followed the evacuation orders' and 'It's really windy here! Back to you in the studio.'

If that were my job, I would call in sick. Of course, when it just rains here without the 135 mph winds, there are times I used to call in sick just so I don't have to leave the house. Some days, even heavy fog will be enough.
