Things I hate about driving or driving-related things I hate:
I hate it when my windshield wipers do a good job when the blade is going up, but leaves streaks when the blade goes back down. I especially hate it when I try to clean the glass to improve visibilty on a sunny day, but the resulting streaks leave a glare that blinds me.
I hate the metering stoplights on freeway on-ramps. You're building speed coming around one of those 270 degree turns, and suddenly there's this red light so you have to stop. Then you have about 12 feet to get your car back up to speed to merge with traffic. I think the light coming out of the Oakland airport area back to 880N stayed red the whole time. I didn't really look that carefully. (I actually don't look at the metering lights on the Bay Bridge either. When the car next to me goes, I go.)
I hate it when 4 cars in 4 different lanes travel the same speed on a 4 lane road. (This does not apply in NASCAR situations.)
That blue tint located at the top part of the front windshield? What does it do? It surely does not block out the potentially dangerous blinding rays of the sun. It's a good thing I wear my red sunglasses when I drive.
I hate paying for gas and car insurance. When I am President, I will create a universal car insurance plan for all. And it will be cheap. I will also build a highly sophisticated and secret pipeline system that will suck oil from underneath the OPEC countries, so gas will be cheap too. Remember to vote for me.
On that note, I do have some good news: Reno 911 Season 2 starts Wednesday at 10:30p/9:30c. (Don't you love how most of the United States lives in terms of am and pm, but there's that part of the country that has to live in 'central' time? It's 10:30pm for those of us on the east or west coast, but it's going to be 9:30 for those living in the middle. Not 9:30 PM, but 9:30 CENTRAL)
