Television rantings.....

I'm not a big Friends fan, but I saw the last episode and I thought it sucked. (It was almost as bad as Seinfeld's last show, but at least Seinfeld didn't have the sappy/happy ending.) It would have been great if the show just cut out the last 5 minutes. They could have at least made it more dramatic by making Ross fly to Paris.

TV shows in general suck. Today I remembered I was doing some reality contest show bracket on this blog. Unfortunately, like all reality contest shows, once all the good-looking women get voted off the show, I lose interest. I figure if I got bored of my own fake reality show, it probably was not that entertaining in the first place. Maybe some other network will pick up my junked series. (note: American Choppers is still cool.)

Reason number 57 I do not watch the NBA: (reasons 1-56 were brought to you by the New Jersey Nets)
I almost forgot that the Indiana Pacers were still in the NBA playoffs. The last time I saw them on SportsCenter was in March. The NBA and David Stern may do a great job of marketing, but they need to work on their tv programming skills. Look at the NHL; much more physically demanding sport, yet they do not wait 12 days between games 2 and 3 in a 7 game series.

Most Bay Area stations now have Fox Sports Plus to show sporting events when there is more than one game going on. This channel has been long overdue in the Bay Area. What irritates me is that on Wednesday afternoon, they put the Giants on FSNplus while showing some skateboarding stuff on FSN. A live baseball game should have priority over a taped extreme sports bit.
