What I learned today: Do not wear red-tinted sunglasses while driving.
The other night, I had my pair of red sunglasses at our poker night. I usually don't wear sunglasses to play cards. It doesn't help me any. In fact, some of the mirrored lens probably give away my cards. Anyways, while wearing my red sunglasses, I looked at my poker chips and noticed they were now different colors. The red chips were white, and my green chips had turned black. My $3.50 had just transformed into $12.00.
I found the red glasses in the car as I was driving today and thought it would be cool to wear those instead of my normal sunglasses. I stopped at an intersection with a stoplight and could not see the green light, so I stopped. With the red tint, the light just looked like it was off. A few seconds later, I see the top spot light up and realized I must have been stopped there like an idiot during the green light. Lucky for me, there were no cars behind or coming toward me.
