The Bay Area Rescue Mission hosted our King's Club Christmas Party today in Richmond. Despite the inclimate weather, lots of people were in line at the Richmond Auditorium long before I even showed up.

On Monday, we took some kids to a Christmas party in Potero Hill in San Francisco. There were about 75 kids there, but the party was a mess. They ran out of food for lunch as soon as we got there. Their program was all out of order, with all kinds of technical difficulties, including trying to a CD player to work. They had 3 different plans for distributing gifts, none of which worked efficiently. It was a nice effort, but it makes me proud to be a part of the King's Club's party.

We had between 1000-1200 kids in attendance. Alex the Magician did a great show. A guy named John from the Power Team, who goes around smashing bricks with their heads while speaking about Jesus, performed a couple feats of strengths. Our choirs and dance teams performed without any glitches. Each child recieved 2 presents, a New Testament and a bag of candy. It was a really great event.
