I noticed I dropped a spot in Hideyo's BCS rankings, so I guess I better spend less time on eBay and more time on Blogger.

As previously mentioned, I have been wasting away time on eBay searching for old school, mostly Hall of Famers, SF Giants baseball cards. My collection is building rapidly, but will probably slow down real soon due to insufficient funding. I have only 2 Willie Mays cards because a most of them will cost me an arm and two legs. I've got a couple of Willie McCovey cards, but I refuse to collect the cards of the years he played for the Padres. My most recent addition is a 2000 Upper Deck Legends Bobby Bonds autograph card. For some reason, this card was rather elusive, as people were paying way too much for it. The high demand might have been spurred on my Barry's homeruns or Bobby's ailing health.

Why would I waste what little (emphasis on little) hard earned cash I have on little pieces of cardboard? Because I am Costanza, Lord of the Idiots.


(editor's note: I really don't spend that much on baseball cards. 8 year olds probably spend more on Yu-Gi-Oh cards in a month than I do. I hate Yu-Gi-Oh.)
