Do any of you realize how weak the hydrocortisone anti-itch cream is? I had a mosquito bite on my hand so I've been using some of this stuff. The tube I have is labeled 'maximum strength' and consist of 1% cream. (The regular strength is 0.5% cream, which leads to the question who the heck wants to use regular strength when the maximum strength cost the same?) What is the other 99% that I'm paying for? It's been 2 days and the swelling and itching in my hand is finally starting to go down. If one of you future drug makers and distrubutors would make a 2% hydrocortisone cream, you would be rich. How much more could an extra 1% cost? I want some stuff that will get rid of the insect bite in a few seconds. Maybe a 12% cream could do it. I hate mosquitos.
