I lost to Danny at Buchanan Fields Golf Course Thursday, so I did what any golfer would do: I upgraded to superior equipment. The Taylor Made 200 series will carry me to victory. With the final round still to go in the Match Play Championship, my bracket has defeated Danny's bracket, so at least I can beat him in fantasy golf. Thank you very much, Scott Hoch.
Wal-Mart has now surpassed Target as my favorite retail store.
I'm not much of a music fan and I don't buy CD's anymore, but I have a 12 CD changer in my car to listen to when I'm not listening to Rick Barry or Tom Tolbert on KNBR. I rotate the CD's in there about once every 2 months because I acquire or create a CD every 2 months. Most of the CD's I have are almost 10 years old. I listen to newer music on the radio every now and then, but I think most of the stuff sucks. Actually a lot of the old stuff I listen to sucks too.
1: The Two Towers Soundtrack: I listen to this to get pumped for golf.
2: Live (throwing copper): I went to a Live concert a long time ago. I haven't listened to anything by them since then.
3: Michael W. Smith: No idea what the W is for, but he makes my current playlist.
4: Green Day (dookie): Good music to play loud.
5: Phantom of the Opera: The Phantom makes me play this one.
6: Classics Greatest Hits: Who couldn't use a bit of Mozart in their lives?
7: Comtempary Christian: A mix of stuff I compiled. No Michael W here though.
8: Meat Loaf: Don't know why this is here, because there is only 1 song on the whole CD I listen to. Maybe I just think his name sounds cool.
9: Pet Shop Boys (discography): Something to listen to after I get through the one Meat Loaf song.
10: Paula Abdul (forever your girl): Only in here because of the American Idol hype. She would not win.
11: Offspring (smash): Good music to play very loud.
12: Japanese pop (from sailor moon cartoons): I don't understand a single word of this CD, but it sounds really cool. Adds a little international flavor.
Our Christmas tree is still sitting outside our front door. It's a nice brown color, but the leaves are still intact. Some may call us lazy, but we just like to celebrate the Christmas season year round.
